Kiosk (Self-Return System)

Library Kiosk

The P.K. Kelkar Library is equipped with an advanced RFID-enabled Kiosk system designed to facilitate the seamless self-return of library books. This automated facility allows users to return materials efficiently during library operational hours.

Instructions & Guidelines

  • Automated Notifications: Upon successfully returning a book via the kiosk, a confirmation email will be sent to your institute email ID, and an SMS alert will be delivered to your registered mobile number.
  • Verification Receipt: The kiosk generates a printed transaction receipt. Users are required to collect this receipt and present it at the security checkpoint while exiting the library for verification.
  • Service Availability: This self-return service is operational strictly during the library's opening hours.
  • Assistance: Should you encounter any technical difficulties or require guidance while using the kiosk, please seek immediate assistance from the library help desk.
