Submission Guidelines

• Already registered users on the ETD Theses Portal may login using their User ID.
• New users may Register Here.
• Off-campus users must connect through VPN (Instructions).
• For login issues, contact the Library Circulation Desk: 0512-259 7233 / 7331.

The soft copy of the full thesis must include a certificate page:

• Duly signed by the Supervisor(s)
• Bearing the DOAA stamp

Email the certificate to the respective desk:

• PhD: phd1@iitk.ac.in, phd2@iitk.ac.in
• M.Tech: mtech_thesis@iitk.ac.in
• MSR / MDES / MSc: mtech_thesis2@iitk.ac.in
• UG (BT/MT): ug2@iitk.ac.in

• Only PDF files are accepted (No encryption allowed).
• Ensure page numbers are in correct serial order.

File Naming Convention (Roll No: xxxxxx):

• Abstract: xxxxxx_abstract.pdf
• Full Thesis: xxxxxx.pdf
• Authentication Form: xxxxxx_authentication.pdf

• How to generate MD5 & SHA512 hash

Process: Email the filled form for signature to the respective desk. After receiving the signed form, upload all three files at: https://etd.iitk.ac.in

• Online thesis submissions are verified by library staff.
• After verification, the thesis is moved to the repository.
• No Dues Certificate is issued only after verification and clearance of book dues.
