P K Kelkar Library is equipped with an RFID system which provides self-Issue/Return/Renewal of books using a Kiosk. Users can use the Kiosk to issue or renew library books.
- You will receive an email for every issue/renewal transaction on your institute email ID and an SMS alert on your registered mobile number.
- After the issue or renewal of books through the Kiosk, a printed receipt will be issued at the Kiosk, which you need to show at the checkpoint desk while leaving the library.
- Service will continue during open library times.
- Please contact the library help desk for any help in using the self-issue/renew Kiosk.
How to Borrow /Check Out
Step 1: Select Borrow/Check Out
Step 2: Tap your finger on the biometric scanner.
STEP 3: Place the books on the marked space (scanning bed) and confirm the transactions on the screen.
STEP 4: Confirm your transaction on the screen.
STEP 5: Select Print Receipt/No Receipt/Email.
